The use of reversible SOCs to produce renewable hydrogen holds promise for energy storage, but traditional ceramic manufacturing limits their efficiency and potential.

A recent article entitled: "3D printing of reversible solid oxide fuel cells for efficient hydrogen production and power generation" was published in the Journal of Power Sources.

Here, the issue concerns SOC (Solid Oxide Cell) technologies, which have improved considerably, increasing device performance and durability. However, progress in battery technology remains limited by the constraints of traditional ceramic manufacturing.
